On the local fight scene, those were
fighting words from Pontiac’s Pete
Cantu, and Brian Mihtar of Detroit is
ready to answer the call. The pair
apparently have a contract in place
for a Jan. 29, 2010, fi ght at Masonic
Temple in Detroit on a fi ght show
promoted by Carlos Llinas. Cantu had
inferred he was being ducked by
some local fi ghters. But according to
Mihtar, not anymore.
“He made a big mistake calling me
out,” Mihtar said. “Now he’s got me.
Question is, what’s he going to do
with me. He’s been yapping and
yapping.”
